August 15 - 18, After flying from London to Newark, New Jersey, I drive to Scranton for the 8th G-3/PNCC Dialogue in Scranton. We make progress in understanding how we are thinking about ways to re-structure our overseas work, and how we have handled Holy Orders since the 1978 Denver Consecrations. We describe the G-3 as a marriage. We are united in communio in sacris, and are now building the house we will live in…getting the foundation in and the walls framed out. We also note the cordial relations with the Province of Christ the King, which will be represented at our Joint Synods in Orlando this October. The Bishop of the Diocese of Fort Worth, Ryan Reed, will give the banquet address, and Bp. Steve Scarlett and Dcn. Calvin Robinson will address us as well.

(As I recall Ft Worth is where G3 requires on reordination for clergy coming in, and deposition if they leave for Ft Worth)
Glad to see Bp Hewitt continue the work of building greater connections outside G3.
